![]() | | Saint-Michel-en-Thiérache Abbey Founded in the 10th century, this Benedictine abbey has been home to a practical experiment in safety matters: from simply bringing the electrical network up to the required standards to the building of a walkway to facilitate access to the site. The aim of this action is to determine, in partnership with the Watten and Saint-Omer sites, how to combine safety, heating and electricity with the spiritual and patrimonial character of the sites in order to improve the welcome given to visitors on the sites. |
